Spikes

Spike traps deal damage to every unit that steps on them. Only some units are able to destroy traps. They can be very effective when used in combination with towers.
Royal Revolt 2 Spikes

Functions:

The Spike trap deals continuous damage to all walking units that step on it. It is cheap and fast to upgrade, making it a good choice for an upgrade if you have spare thousands of gold you do not want raiders to take while you are away. The great advantage of using Spikes is that, aside from the hero character, only Paladins and Cannons can damage them. The downside is that they have low health compared with other traps.

TIPS

Like the Blockade and the Barricade, the Spike is best placed clustered with towers. However, unlike the other two traps, this one is particularly effective when flanked with three kinds of towers: Frost, Gargoyle, and Snake. They provide additional damage to enemies that try to take down these three towers.

Place Spike traps in front of Blockades and Barricades so the enemies will have no option but to step on them. If you have long-range towers and defenders nearby, the enemies will receive devastating damage.

By and all, Spike traps must be used in combination with the other two traps and any tower, since they create combo damage that is impossible to avoid.
