The Snake Tower spits a highly poisonous venom that is extracted from the most poisonous snakes in the world. The structure is most effective against every walking unit, especially Paladins.
Functions:
The Snake Tower, third short-range tower unlocked countering the
Mortar, damages enemies slowly with its potent poison. Although it looks
innocuous—spitting its deadly glop only at nearby enemies—its venom lasts
considerably long and easily depletes the health of Paladins and kings without
poison shield. With a Level 1 health of 5,700, the Snake Tower is another
favored time-killer and defense-booster in the game. This tower, which is weak
against blunt damage, can be destroyed quickly by Paladins and Cannons and by
Hammerstrike and Sonic Blast.
TIPS
Snake Towers are always used in combination with more damaging towers
like Bomb Towers, Firebolt Towers, and Skull Towers. They last longer when placed
in a way that counteracts their short range: at any tile, with well-upgraded
Spikes in front and long-range towers nearby.
It is rare to see a kingdom that specializes in stopping enemies with
poison damage. However, this can be an interesting tactic to employ: Imagine Mortars
killing groups of enemies by complementing the Snake Tower’s short range. Even
a king with 500 points of poison shield would be unable to last long if
bombarded with poisoned bombs—and since he would have to lead his troops in
taking down Snake Towers, he would be forced to get close to their attack
range. There would be nothing to face but poison!
Making a Snake Tower stand longer requires the common strategy of assigning
long-range defenders (Archer, Arblaster, Froster, Pyromancer, and Mortar) and pairing
each tower with high-level Spikes. Placing distracting Bomb Towers and heavy-damaging
Firebolt Towers and Skull Towers nearby to assail attackers supplements this
effectively.
To destroy Snake Towers in no time, equip the blunt-inflicting
Hammerstrike and Sonic Blast. Recruit Paladins and Cannons for additional blunt
attack; support them with either Arblasters or Pyromancers.
Do you rely on Snake Towers in boosting your defense? What defender
combinations do you employ to make the most of their poison damage? Don’t
hesitate to share your tactics, whether to help others or bluff them!
